Waste of money - had no useful information as a MS project quick reference guide. I have found that looking information up on the web is easier. Save your money and invest in a book or look up any tips on the internet. This reference guide was not good and I've bought other reference guides that are quick reference guides laminated for other purposes that were effective for learning purposes in other areas. This one is terrible.

good resource for quickly staying on track

I bought several books and it takes time to read through all the stories to get to the important content. This two side set of directions skips all the stories, gets right to the important stuff. Its pretty basic, but perfect for a beginner. You need the book to get to the more complicated items, but this will get you started doing a project. Worked great for me.

As a professional estimator, planner and scheduler, many reference sources are needed. Especially with the more than 50 billion dollars expansions of industrial taking place in our are. This reference card was important to my reference library

Not as helpful as I envisioned...luckily the cost is not high. I taught myself Project 2010 from books and while I used this, I didn't really need it as much as I thought I might.

This helps me communication much better with my clients. I know what I'm doing, but this gives credence to what I'm asking for...I'm not making stuff up.

This is the first book in an epic fantasy series. I read all of them back to back after seeing an add on facebook. This book starts off a little shaky, but the story and characters gain strength as the book progresses. I love how the Irish mythology is woven into the plot. Finn, the main character, took a little bit to grow on me, but ultimately I'm rooting for her and her allies. Iseult, a tortured warrior-type, is probably my favorite character.One common complaint I see among reviews is that "nothing" is "resolved" in this book. I agree, but I don't see that as a bad thing. Stories take on lives of their own; they grow and change during the writing of them. When you have a book in the "epic fantasy" genre, that story branching out into a series is kind of a given. It's not a cash grab - believe me, the real money is NOT in writing fantasy novels! To tell a story the way it should be told, an author often has to break that story into multiple books. That is the case here. I actually subscribed to KU just to read this series for free - and it was worth it!So to the critics, I shrug and say, "get over it." If you want a standalone story, don't read a series. If you want everything tied up in a neat little package at the end of the first novel in a series...you're gonna have a hard time.But if you DO want to delve into an awesome, epic fantasy series, READ THIS ONE. Seriously - it's worth it. I would love to visit this world and hang out with these characters. There's tons of myth, magic, party banter, and some great plot twists.

I am deeply puzzled by the enthusiasm shown by the other reviewers for this book. But before I get to my complaints, let me acknowledge its strengths. The novel's opening is nicely done. I found the idea that a tree could become a girl completely charming. That the girl would desperately want to go back to being a tree, despite having some sense that she might have once been something other than a tree, was also intriguing. The author made the early scenes pleasant, and I was eager to keep reading.Fairly soon, however, the troubles began. (Note: what follows is SLIGHTLY spoiler-ish, but I don't reveal names or details.) The main problems for me lie in emotional inertness of the characters. People are described as upset, but they don't act it. If someone is sad, she might cry, but then the sadness simply goes away so that the next event can unfold. And these thin emotions mean that the connections between the characters make no sense. For example, the tree-girl is discovered by an old man, who takes her in and provides her with everything she needs, even though he appears to have almost nothing himself. He even eventually agrees to accompany her on her quest, leaving his entire life behind. This could have - and SHOULD have - been the beginning of a deep relationship. But the author never really gives any of her characters much emotional range, and so none of the characters develop real connections with others. This lack of emotions also makes the characters' motivations pretty incomprehensible. The tree-girl and the old man join up with a group of travelers. One of the travelers is kidnapped. No one liked the kidnapped woman (for good reasons) but they all easily agree to risk their lives to save her. Not much explanation is offered. Later, some members of the group betray others. This comes as a complete surprise, and doesn't fit with anything we learned about the characters earlier. But then the betrayal is reversed, and the betrayers and the betrayed go back to simply being fellow travelers and friends. There is so much inconsistency in people's actions, it makes every event utterly unpredictable.I also found the characterization of the fairies (the Faie) impossible to enjoy. I think we're supposed to find them frightening. But mostly what they were to me was incomprehensible, again, because of the inconsistency in their respective motivations. One member of the Faie is initially reasonable and almost helpful, but then suddenly becomes threatening and then ultimately malevolent. This character shift does not unfold as a normal development of a complicated character, but rather as a random set of attributes that the author simply pulls out, depending on what her plot needs at the moment. I don't need bad guys in black hats, and good guys in white, but I do need to have some sense of where at least some of the people or creatures fit on a scale, at a minimum so I can know whether to be upset when they die!Finally, I really didn't enjoy the overall plot. There are many plot holes, which apparently many people felt made them want to read the next book. I feel that, after reading the entire first volume, since I still didn't know what was happening, or why, I don't need to keep going. YMMV.

Im about 3/4 of the way through and Im surprised to see so few reviews. I really like this writer. I think her idea for this heroine is very unique and her style is great. Sometimes this genre has gratuitous fight scenes that just seem like filler rather than adding to the character development or excitement.... I find the concept of the main character totally believable... Ok, as far as pure fantasy and magical trees turning into girls can feel real. Its descriptive without being repetitive and weird. Also, she does a great job with the dialogue! This is probably my worst pet peeve. I seriously tried a new author out recently and one of the female characters looked at the man who saved her and said "you're my hero" I wanted to barf! None of that nonsense here. I think maybe this is a newer writer and I really think she's going to be one of the greats. I just purchased the last 2 of the series because Im going to want to see this one through. Ill continue to review as I move along.

This is a wonderful book (from a mature reader) that weaves its story and well-written characters into a tapestry along w Irish folklore about the fae. It starts with a terrifically odd premise, almost like a child's tale, and grows, like the branches of a well-edited tree, from there. Must read! (And please, dear author, stop selling this book for .99. It is worth more!)Another reviewer gave this book one star. I have to say ... the reader appears to have misunderstood the book. As many other reviews attest, the characters are engaging, both to the reader and in their interactions w each other. Ms. Roethle has a nice, spare writing style. Relationships and character motivation is seen in the characters' back stories, dialogue, and internal motivations. Emotions are also on full, realistic display. There is solid dialogue and character development.The fae are integral to the story. If the one-star reader didn't understand their importance, then she/he is perhaps reading the wrong genre. I read, and write, YA epic fantasy, so have read a lot of it.And this story is very good. I was particularly impressed by how deftly the multiple perspective was handled, and how it veered away from following the typical action-fantasy-quest trope. Do read!

These Peek-a Books are great! They are cute, fun, cooky, and educational for any baby/toddler! Its also a Board Book which means my little one can carry it around and "read" it himself without fear of ripping pages! I've bought all the Peek-a books Nina Laden has! :-)

Not as sturdy as the last one I had for my daughter. There needs to be some standard in order to be called a "board book." My 15 month old can easily bend the pages in half. This isn't a board book...it's thick pages. Unhappy with this, as I have been with several other baby book purchases. Think I'm sticking to the stores so I can actually see the quality before I buy.

First of all, I give 5 stars to the concept of this book, simple and high contrast. But the craftsmanship is the WORST I've got so far from children's books. The print keeps falling off and went all over my baby's hands and mouth within 3 days of readying/playing!!! I don't understand why the publisher did't coat the board book and decided to go with bare prints. It is a book for babies, that means they explore it by holding, throwing, mouthing, etc.!!! Worst quality ever!!! (but I do love the content, I gave Nina 5 stars for her creativity and imagination.)

This is our favorite book to give with new baby gifts. Really cute, fun, and interactive. However, lately we have been disappointed with the quality control...the last two books we ordered did not have the film over the "mirror" at the back of the book and one of "mirrors" has little scratches, and one of the books had dinged/bad edges. When we pay full price for a book, we expect it to be in "new" condition, especially when purchasing for a gift.

Before purchasing, I did quite a bit of research on books for my infant... & I must say, this is absolutely worth it! At 3.5mo, my son loves when I read "Peek-A-Who?" to him! We've even made it part of our daily routine. Vibrant colors, large front, not too busy for younger ones, very nicely bound, and super fun!

Great, simple book. My daughter loves it (she's one year old), and keeps picking it out over and over again--luckily, short enough that it doesn't get annoying to after the 10th time...

My daughter is 9 months old and when I give her the choice between this and ANY other book she always chooses this one. She giggles as I read every page, and it's the cutest little thing. When we get to the last page ("Peek a.... YOU!") she pulls the book up to her face and sometimes kisses herself in the little reflective surface! Such a fun book and so entertaining to see a little person getting so much joy from it!

Excellent book for encouraging language skills! My 2 year old began repeating some of the words on the very first day we got the book! She does not often repeat back many words and it was refreshing to see how excited she was to flip through this book. She cannot get enough of the mirror on the last page! This is not a story book with any exceptional plot. It's a simple book with many cutouts that young infants may enjoy and very few words and that all rhyme that toddlers can easily learn to repeat back. If your infant/young toddler doesn't take to this book, hold onto it because it will be great for basic language skills.The words:Peek-a-WhoPeek-a-MooPeek-a-BooPeek-a-ZooPeek-a-Choo-ChooPeek-a-YOU!

I read this book in one sitting. No possible way that anything could stand in the way of Roxane Gay's collection, "Hunger: A Memoir of (My) Body"! I sobbed through each essay as Gay revealed her depth and each secret was stripped and empowered on the page! This is by far the fiercest and most unforgettable memoir I have read to date! Some quotes:"My warmth was hidden far from anything that could bring hurt because I knew I didn't have the inner scaffolding to endure anymore hurt in those protected places.""Do my boundaries exist if I don't voice them?""The thing about shame is that there are no depths. I have no idea where the bottom of my shame resides.""There is a price to be paid for visibility and there is even more of a price to be paid when you are hypervisible."Make sure when you get a copy that you have time to read it through because you will not want to do anything else! LOVE LOVE Roxane Gay! This is her most powerful work to date!

The title of this book is perfect. Anyone, who knows who Roxane Gay is, will assume the book has to do with eating. Hunger connotes a desire for food, right? But, this book is much more than a book about food. It's a book about yearning, about hungering for many things. Food is, of course, one of those things. But, Ms. Gay hungers for companionship, for love, for acceptance, for simple courtesy. She hungers for recognition of who she is versus what she looks like. In fact, there is little in the book that indicates that she hungers for food.This is a troubling book to read. It's full of angst. The short chapters feel as if each could be a confessional on a shrink's couch. The author shares her innermost wants, needs, feelings. It is so revealing that the reader feels as if they are intruding. The courage it took to write the book is evident. But, what's not so evident but clear is how much the author had to go deep within herself to really understand who she was. I'm assuming she did that alone and not in therapy. She doesn't mention being in therapy (except some counseling when she was in high school).Â Given all the revelations in the book, the reader begins to search his or her own soul. In doing that, we might ask ourselves, do we really see others? Do we assume by what we see in other people's appearance (bodies), they are a certain way without knowing that person. Are we subconsciously critical of people who are fat (anorexic, old, handicapped--my additions)?Â Ms. Gay helps the reader understand the difficulty she has doing very normal things, like going out to dinner with friends, going to the doctor, using a public restroom, flying in an airplane, sitting behind the steering wheel of a car, going to a movie or the theatre. The list is endless. I can add others: Serving on jury duty, walking on a sidewalk, sitting on a park bench. Those of us in normal-sized bodies take all these things for granted. After having read Hunger, I will never take these things for granted again.Hunger is a tough read. My hope is the process of writing it helped Ms. Gay deal with her own deep-seated, long-standing traumas. In the meantime, I will never look at an overweight person in the same way. That much I gained from this book.The book is not a slow read. The chapters are quickly devoured. The sentences short with much repetition. The emotion high.

I really wanted to love this book. I respect the author. I champion the cause. From the intro i was fully warned that it would not be something with a "happy ending" so I wasn't expecting that. But it seemed like she said the same story over and over again. Each time around the cycle I kept hoping there would be just a bit more awareness or some kind of insight. But it just never happened. It felt like one long complaint - with no door in - the author essentially shoots down any possible way the reader can connect.

This was not an easy book to read, especially if you are struggling with weight issues. The author writes beautifully of her struggle with her body after being raped at the age of 12. Her way of keeping men away was go gain weight. At one point in this book she weighed 511 pounds. She has struggled since the age of 12 and she details the diets, the comments, the bullying. Her story is beautifully told but it offers no real answers, no solutions to the problems of weight. The chapters are very short and many will identify with the author. At the end of the book she seems to accept the fact (as many of us do) the loosing weight is a struggle with no real end it sight. The author has accomplished a lot in spite of the trauma and her story is compelling.

Roxanne Gay is one of my favorite writers. Yet I never expected to be haunted by this book. So many truths about the body, a black woman's body, a Caribbean American woman's body.The short paragraphs do not always make the book easier to read but they offer a chance to reflect on the sad truth that the body is what matters. I cannot recommend this book to eternal optimists for there isn't a neatly wrapped bow at the end. There is, however, truth, which is by far a greater gift.

I have a lot of complaints about this book, but I'm just going to focus on one: Near the end of the text Roxane Gay admits to virtually stalking a man who raped her as a child. Instead of contacting the police or warning her community about a sexual predator, she decides she would rather keep tabs on him from afar. She explains that she is not afraid of him, and is not silent on his identity because of her personal trauma. Rather, she basks in the power she wields - she's titillated by his fate being subject to her whim.I'm disappointed that a self-proclaimed feminist chooses to risk the safety of others for her own personal satisfaction. Rape is not a game, but she sure as hell treats it like one. She even muses if he's raped other little girls, but her curiosity is uncaring and crass. This book is about herself, with no traces of empathy or compassion. I found her bland as a writer and disgusting as a human.
