Preston Sprinkle (PhD, Aberdeen) is a teacher, speaker, and New York Times bestselling author. He has written several books including People to Be Loved, Living in a Gray World, Charis, and Erasing Hell, which he co-authored with Francis Chan. Preston has held faculty positions at Nottingham University, Cedarville University, and Eternity Bible College. He and his family live in Boise, Idaho, and he currently helps pastors and leaders engage the LGBTQ conversation with thoughtfulness and grace.

One of the best resources out there for helping students think critically and biblically on how to engage their gay friends and family members with both the grace and truth of Jesus Christ. This is not an emotion-driven book, venting frustration at the Church or anything of that nature. It is a thoughtful engagement with Scripture, loving critique of past mistakes Christians have made, and a legitimate stance and discussion on what the Bible says about homosexuality and how that should inform how we engage with the world around us.
This is one of the most lovingly written conservative and Biblical views on this subject. I can not express enough the lovingly truthful and truthfully loving way this book was written. Very helpful in healing unanswered questions that one might not even know to ask, or how to ask. A great read for not only teens but also parents, family members and friends.
Unless you live under a rock you have wrestled with the questions in this book and struggled to find answers. Preston Sprinkle does a great job of helping teens and adults understand the issues and form a compassionate yet biblical view. Highly recommended!
A good book for those wanting to help youth with questions about sexual identity. This an easy read, full of good information, recommend it for anyone either in ministry or friend or family member.
